About Power Digital
Power Digital Marketing is a data-driven, ROI-focused, fast-growing digital marketing agency and their headquarter is based in San Diego, CA. Their team consists of highly specialized marketing professionals who are proven at the large agency level and are experts in their fields. Power Digital Marketing’s mission is to move away from the standardized "one size fits all" marketing approach and deliver customized solutions with measurable results.
My Role
As a graphic design intern, I designed email campaigns, paid social ads, Amazon product infographic, and Google Display Network’s banners for Power Digital Marketing’s clients (Alastin Skincare, Boody, Nurish, M.S. Rau, and more). I also took part in weekly brainstorm and research sessions with the creative team.
Paid Social Projects
According to MuckRack, social media desktop user’s average attention for one content span is 2.5 seconds and mobile user’s attention span is 1.7 seconds. My main goal as a designer was to create a design that catches user’s attention quickly; one of the best ways to do so is with gifs.
Nurish by nature made
Nurish by Nature Made is a convenient personalized vitamin and supplement subscription service. A customer takes a 5-minute quiz and Nurish create a personalized nutritional supplement of 30-packets that are delivered to the customer’s door.
For these ads, I made the transitions between each scene to be quick to catch users attention and to give information about Nurish in a short amount of time.
North Central College
North Central College is a private college in Naperville, Illinois. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and has nearly 70 areas of study in undergraduate majors, minors, and programs through 19 academic departments organized in three undergraduate colleges/schools and a master’s program.

Boody
Boody is a sustainable clothing line that uses naturally grown bamboo to create its fiber. Their clothes are simple, breathable, and comfortable. Boody creates a wide range of clothing from everyday outfits to activewear and undergarments.
When I was designing the banners, I decided to:
make the design style to be minimalistic to match Boody’s branding
use photos that are light and has a friendly feel
added light background behind the copy so the words are easier to read while making sure it does not interfere with the image
when possible, I placed the copy where the model is looking so that the viewer’s eyes naturally navigate to the text and CTA button.
M.S. RAU
M.S. Rau was founded in 1912 and stands as one of North America’s most respected fine art, antiques, and jewelry galleries. The 40,000-square-foot gallery features carefully selected works from a diverse array of artists and makers who have defined the fine and decorative arts over the centuries. These include Claude Monet, John Singer Sargent, Rembrandt van Rijn, Tiffany & Co., Paul Revere, Thomas Chippendale, Louis Comfort Tiffany, René Lalique, and many others.
When I was designing the banners, I decided to:
choose background colors (within M.S. Rau’s brand guide) that will go well with the product
made the artists/company or the name of the product as the header so the viewers can see very quickly what they are looking at
went with a yellow call-to-action so there is a contracts between the backgrounds and to make it look unified with all of the campaigns
